About Us

Atteridgeville Senior Citizens Care

ASCCA was founded in 2000 by retired nurses Ms Malebye and Ms Rikhotso with the support of Ms Huma a retired social worker as a social club. The aim was to bring the elderly together and to engage them in various health and social up-liftment programs. In 2002 it was registered as a NPO as result of the number of beneficiaries that increased with extra needs and funding was secured from the Department of Social Development. A Service Centre was acquired operating from the Dutch Reformed Church in Atteridgeville, employing a number of support staff.
